About: Ayn Rand Institute offers Ayn Rand Institute Fountainhead Essay Contest, an annual essay contest, with a top prize of $1 $3 $25,000, to support and help high school students for the best essay on Ayn Rand’s fiction. Applicants must be middle & high school students worldwide, ages 13 and older; essays should stay on topic, address all parts of the selected prompt, and interrelate the ideas and events in the novel; winning essays must demonstrate an outstanding grasp of the philosophic meaning. 3 awards are made annually.
