Amount: $1,000-$2,500+. About: The American Welding Society (AWS) annually offers scholarships to students living or going to school in one of its 22 districts. Applicants must enroll in a welding-related educational or training program, be high school graduates or possess a GED equivalent, and reside in and attend school within the boundaries of an AWS District. Application opens on December 1, annually.
