About: Offered by American Society of Safety Professionals, the ASSP Foundation Academic Scholarship Program is a $1,000 $15,000 award to support students within the occupational safety and health field, preparing for their careers or looking to supplement their careers with additional college coursework. Applicants must be enrolled in an OSH-related degree program with at least three credit hours in progress for this academic year; may be earning applicants associates, bachelors, masters degree, or be enrolled in a doctorate program; ASSP membership is not required but preferred and, in most cases, ASSP members will receive priority; must be students enrolled in OSH-related degrees who are studying and living in the United States.
