About: Offered by Association for Iron and Steel Technology, the AIST Globe-Trotters Member Chapter Scholarship is a $5,000 $25,000 award to support students intended to reward and attract talented and dedicated students and encourage them to pursue careers within the iron and steel industry. Applicants must be the child or grandchild of an active Globe-Trotters chapter member in good standing or a current student member of AIST through the material advantage student program; the candidate for the scholarship must be currently enrolled in an accredited college, university or trade school; students enrolled in postgraduate schools will also be considered; the awards will be made without regard to financial need.
Eligible Grade Levels: College Freshman, College Sophomore, College Junior, College Senior
Eligible Majors: Metallurgy; Mining [new-major?]
Residency Requirement: No residency requirement
Minimum GPA: No GPA requirement
