The American Hotel and Lodging Association (AHLA) Foundation offers two kinds of scholarships for students studying hospitality: Self-nominated and School-nominated. Self-nominated scholarships are open to all hospitality-related degree seeking students enrolled in a U.S. college or university regardless of affiliation or school affiliation with the AHLA. In total, the AHLA offers six self-nominated scholarships, all with varying eligibility requirements. School-nominated scholarships require school affiliation with the AHLA Foundation. Eligible Grade Levels: High School Freshman, College Freshman, College Sophomore, College Junior, College Senior, Graduate Student

Eligible Majors: Hospitality, Hotel Management, Restaurant Management, Culinary Arts, Travel, Tourism, Hotel Administration

Residency Requirement: No residency requirement

Minimum GPA: 2.0-3.0
