About: Offered by American Academy of Neurology, the AAN Clinical Research Training Scholarship is a $10,000 $65,000 award to recognize the importance of good clinical research and to encourage early career investigators in clinical studies. Applicants must attend accredited US and international institutions; recipient must be interested in an academic career in neurological research with an MD, PhD or equivalent doctoral-level clinical degree who has completed clinical residency or PhD no more than 5 years prior to the beginning of this award (July 1, current year); if applicants have completed both residency and a PhD, applicants eligibility is based on when applicants completed residency; if applicants completed a fellowship of any kind after residency, applicants eligibility is still based on the date applicants finished residency.
