Hagan Scholarship

Amount: Up to $48,000 over four years (undergraduate), up to $24,000 over two additional years (graduate). About: The Hagan Scholarship is a need-based merit scholarship that offers up to $48,000 to students from eligible public high schools, so they can graduate college without debt. The program also provides free workshops, free Schwab Brokerage Accounts, and up to $8,000 to study abroad during the second semester of junior year or the summer following junior year. Hagan Scholars who graduate college in less than four years with a 3.25 or higher GPA can use the remaining term of their four year scholarship to attend graduate school and receive $6,000 each semester. Those who graduate college with a 3.75 GPA can apply for a $24,000 graduate scholarship to help them pay for graduate school or a professional school. To qualify, applicants must be a U.S. citizen, meet a 3.5 cumulative GPA, enroll at an eligible four-year college or university the first semester following high school graduation, be on schedule to earn an undergraduate degree in four years or less, work at least 240 hours in the 12 months prior to each fall semester in college, not exceed $85,000 in Adjusted Gross Household Income, and meet other terms.
