Offered by the Point Foundation, the Point Foundation Community College Scholarship supports LGBTQ+ and ally students who are earning their associate degree or intend to transfer to a four-year college or university in the United States. In addition to financial support, scholarship recipients receive access to leadership development programs and the support of a community of scholars and alumni. To qualify, applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5; be enrolled at least half-time with the intention to enroll for the full academic year in an associate program and/or transfer to a bachelor’s degree program at an accredited, not-for-profit four-year college or university in the United States; have a connection and commitment to the LGBTQ+ and ally community; and be at least a senior in high school. Additionally, applicants who have previously been awarded a Point Scholarship must have exited their former program with active status.
