Amount: $10,000, $5,000. About: Each year, the Vegetarian Resource Group offers $50,000 in college scholarships to students practicing and promoting no-meat diets. The organization will award one scholarship of $10,000, six scholarships of $5,000 each, and additional runner-up prizes. Applicants must be graduating U.S. high school seniors who have promoted vegetarianism in their schools and/or communities.
