Project Yellow Light/Hunter Garner Scholarship

Amount: $1,000-$8,000. About: The Project Yellow Light/Hunter Garner Scholarship was created to commemorate the life of Hunter Garner, a teenage student who died in a car crash at age 16. The scholarship is intended to spread awareness about distracted driving. In order to apply, students must submit either a billboard design, video, radio spot, or social media post designed to discourage distracted driving. Billboard submissions are due March 1, and video, radio and social medial submissions are due April 1. All submissions can be entered online at the Project Yellow Light/Hunter Garner Scholarship website.
Eligible Grade Levels: High School Senior, College Freshman, College Sophomore, College Junior, College Senior
Eligible Majors: All majors
Residency Requirement: No residency requirement
Minimum GPA: No GPA requirement
