William A. & Ann M. Brothers Scholarship

Amount: $6,000. About: Administered by the American Welding Society (AWS), the William A. & Ann M. Brothers Scholarship is an annual award for students pursuing careers in welding. Applicants must be full-time undergraduate students pursuing four-year degrees in welding or a welding-related subject, be at least 18 years of age, have a high school diploma, have a GPA of at least 2.5 on a 4.0 scale, show financial need, be a U.S. citizen, and attend or plan to attend a college or university in the United States. Preference is given to students residing or attending schools in the states of Ohio. Applications open on December 1, annually.
Eligible Grade Levels: High School Senior, College Freshman, College Sophomore, College Junior, College Senior
Eligible Majors: Welding, Welding Technologist
Residency Requirement: No residency requirement
Minimum GPA: 2.5
