Amount: $3,000. About: Offered by Georgia Gerontology Society, the Virginia M. Smyth Scholarship is a $3,000 award to provide scholarships for graduate study in gerontology and promotes leadership development in the field of aging to include a broad knowledge base, strong organizational skills and a vision for the future. Students must have completed a minimum of one academic term (semester or quarter) in a graduate program and must have a minimum of one fall academic term remaining in a graduate program.
