About: Offered by Navy League of the United States, the Planning Systems Incorporated and Engineering Scholarship is a $10,000 award to recognize high school seniors who will attend an accredited institution of higher education. Applicants must be the dependent or direct descendant of a current or former member of the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard or U.S.-Flag Merchant Marines or an active member of the U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps; must be student properly enrolled in any curriculum at an accredited institution of higher education who is the child or grandchild of a member of the sea services, to include the United States Navy, United States Marine Corps, United States Coast Guard, and U.S.-flag Merchant Marine; no restriction to race, gender, national origin, religion, age sexual orientation, or disability. 2 awards are made annually.
