Applicants must be a public sector member of NYGFOA in good standing; if not a member of NYGFOA; must be an employee of a government which has a NYGFOA member in good standing; must be currently enrolled or accepted into an associates, bachelor’s or master’s degree program in accounting/governmental accounting, business administration, finance, economics, or public administration/affairs; college or university must be located in New York State; must be a citizen or permanent resident of the united states; must not be a past winner of an academic scholarship program administered by NYGFOA.
