Amount: full-tuition. About: Offered by Marion Community Foundation, the United Church Homes Scholarship is a full-tuition award to support Marion County graduates pursuing postsecondary education. Applicant must be a graduating senior or previous graduate who has been a resident of Marion or Wyandot County for two or more years; must have a minimum 2.5 GPA; must have direct academic and personal experience in fields/service to older citizens (such as gerontology, geriatrics, social work, nursing, rehabilitation therapies, marketing, healthcare administration) and direct personal experience as volunteer, intern, or employee of long-term care facilities, assisted living centers, senior housing, churches, community organization, and other programs focused on senior citizens.
