Amount: $10,600. About: Offered by Gerber Foundation, the Daniel Gerber, Sr. Medallion Scholarship is a $10,600 award to support local students pursuing college degrees or vocational education. Applicant must be a citizen or lawful permanent resident of the US and planning to attend a college, university or post-secondary program within the US; must be high school seniors who meet the GPA requirement and are graduating from the following high schools in Newaygo County: Fremont, Grant, Hesperia, Newaygo, White Cloud, and home school students who live in Newaygo County; must have a GPA of 3.85 or above; students must be pursuing a baccalaureate or associate degree, or a vocational or technical training program leading to a certificate or license.
