Amount: $7,000. About: Offered by South Carolina Law Enforcement Officers Association, the SCLEOA Scholarships is a $7,000 award to provide financial assistance to local graduating high school seniors with a connection to SCLEOA. Applicant must be a child of an SCLEOA member; must be a graduating high school senior in South Carolina; the parent(s) or legal guardian(s) of the applicant must have been a legal resident of South Carolina for at least one year; must have the recommendation of his/her principal, headmaster or guidance counselor; must be of good moral character and reputation; recipient must attend college, university, or technical school in South Carolina. 3 awards are made annually.
