Amount: $20,000. About: Offered by Silicon Valley Community Foundation, The Marie A. Calderilla Scholarship is a $20,000 award to support female students attending or planning to attend a college within the San Mateo County Community College District. Applicant must be a female student pursuing first undergraduate degree or certificate program; must be a graduating high school senior or re-entry student planning to attend a college in San Mateo County Community College District; must demonstrate financial need; must desire to improve her life through education; must be a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen. Current community college students who meet all the other requirements are also eligible.
