Amount: $4,000. About: Offered by the Vermont Student Assistance Corporation, the Bernice Murray Scholarship provides three $4,000 awards to single parents with primary custody of at least one child age 12 or younger. Applicants must be pursuing an undergraduate degree, enrolled at least half-time, and demonstrate financial need at a Title IV-eligible school.
