About: Offered by Cherokee Nation Foundation, the Cherokee Nation Council Leadership Scholarship is a $5,000 award to support Cherokee Nation students pursuing postsecondary education. Applicant must be a citizen of the Cherokee Nation; must be a current, full-time student at a two- or four-year higher education institution, or a graduating high school senior accepted to a two- or four-year higher education institution; must have a minimum 3.0 GPA.
