About: Offered by Specialty Equipment Market Association, the SEMA Scholarship and Loan Forgiveness is a $5,000 award to help students pay for their college tuition and SEMA Members pay off their student loans. Applicants must be a high school senior or 18 years of age at the time of submission; U.S. or Canadian Citizen (permanent/legal residents are not eligible to apply); demonstrate passion for the automotive hobby and career; Incoming freshmen or continued enrollment in college, university or post-secondary career and technology school in the United States or Canada; employed by a SEMA member business; possess a degree or certificate from a college, university, or career tech school in the United States or Canada.
