About: Offered by Silicon Valley Community Foundation, the Roshan Rahbari Scholarship Fund is a $5,000 award to support California residents currently enrolled in community college who plan to transfer to a four-year college. Applicants must be a resident of California and a current community college student transferring to a four-year college or university on a part-time or full-time basis; must have a minimum 3.0 GPA; must demonstrate financial need; must have provided service to community or school; must show character qualities such as integrity, compassion, and generosity.
