Amount: $3,000. About: Offered by Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts, the Charles R. Allan And Judith V. Carlson Scholarship Fund is a $3,000 award to award and recognize high school students who have excelled in physics and plan to pursue four-year degrees. Candidates must be graduating seniors from Springfield Central High School or Springfield School of Science in Massachusetts; must have excelled in physics and plan to attend a four-year college or university. 2 awards are made annually.
