About: Regions Financial Corporation offers Regions Riding Forward® Scholarship Essay Contest, an annual essay contest, with a top prize of $3,500 $5,000, to support students in their educational pursuits and tell the stories of Black Americans who inspire others to positively impact the world around them. Applicants must be legal residents of Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, or Texas; applicants must be enrolled or planning to enroll in a nonprofit, two- or four-year undergraduate college or university in the United States or the District of Columbia; applicants must have at least one year or eighteen semester hours remaining before undergraduate graduation or be beginning their freshman year of college; applicants must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.0 or be in good academic standing; applicants must be sixteen years of age or older.
