About: Offered by National Association of Oil and Energy Service Professionals, the Dave Nelsen Scholarships is a $5,000 award to provide for students interested in pursuing careers in the energy service industry. Applicants must be currently attending or planning to attend a technical college or trade school within the next 12 months; technicians currently pursuing licensing or other advanced education; pursuing applicants education in the HVAC-R or plumbing field; enrolled or planning to enroll in a program with an oil heat/Bio-Fuel course as part of applicants overall curriculum; students pursuing a two or four-year technical degree.
