About: Offered by Desert Research Institute Division of Earth and Ecosystem Sciences, the General Frederick Lander Scholarship for Native Americans is a $3,000 award to support eligible American Indian or Alaskan Native students enrolled at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and the University of Nevada, Reno. Applicants must be American Indian or Alaskan Native students enrolled at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas or the University of Nevada, Reno; Candidates must be juniors or seniors with a minimum 3.0 grade point average.
