Amount: $3,000. About: Offered by Silicon Valley Community Foundation, the Claudia K. Salewske Memorial Scholarship is a $3,000 award to supporting future writers and educators long into the future. Applicants must be a graduating high school senior from Gilroy high school, Christopher high School, or Mt. Madonna high school, in Gilroy, California; must have been accepted to a four-year college or university, and matriculating in the fall following graduation; must planned course of study in English, English Literature, or Creative Writing and/or planned course of study in elementary or secondary education.
