Amount: $10,000. About: Offered by Minority Corporate Counsel Association, the MCCA Lloyd M. Johnson, Jr. Scholarships is a $10,000 award to provide scholarship support for newly entering first year law students pursuing a Juris Doctor degree. Applicant must have been accepted into an ABA-accredited U.S. law school for a full-time Juris Doctorate Program for the upcoming fall semester; must be female or diverse students; must have an undergraduate cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher; must have an interest in corporate law, including an interest in working in a corporate law department and/or law firm; must have an interest in diversity, equity and inclusion; must demonstrate community service and leadership qualities.
