Davis Memorial Scholarship is a $2,500 $10,000 award to provide scholarships to qualified high school seniors. Applicants must be high school seniors who have performed with, demonstrate academic achievement (3.0 minimum GPA); perform community/volunteer service; applicants receiving full grant and aid scholarships in the sport of tennis from their respective schools are not eligible for a USTA Foundation scholarship; the USTA foundation strategic goals include providing support to encourage young people to continue their education, with priority given to students who participated in enrolled National Junior Tennis and Learning organizations (NJTL Chapters); demonstrate significant financial need (verified during application process; utilizing free application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and HUD information; must one male and one female student who are entering a four-year college or university program. 2 awards are made.
