Tesla is hiring a Software QA Engineer intern for Vehicle Software for Winter/Spring 2026, based on-site in Palo Alto, CA. Qualifications
Required
- Pursuing a Degree in Computer Science or a related field with a graduation date between 2026 – 2027
- Experience in software testing, automation scripting (Python, C++, or similar), and test framework design
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD)
Nice to have
- Comfort writing clear, reproducible bug reports and test case documentation.
- Experience collaborating with engineers to validate fixes and prevent regressions.
- Familiarity with creating and maintaining automated test suites over time.
- Attention to detail when reviewing test results, logs, and failure patterns.
- Ability to communicate testing status and risks clearly in an Agile workflow.
