About this internship
Oracle is hiring an Advanced Degree UX Design/Research full-time intern conversion role in the United States with a remote work model, within its data governance and data management industry focus. The internship is intended for candidates who have graduated with a masterβs degree or PhD within 12 months of the start date (no later than August 2026). Pay is listed at $68Kβ$141K per year.
Qualifications
Required
- Have graduated with a master’s degree or PhD in Product/Industrial Design, HCI, Human Factors, Usability Engineering, or a related field within 12 months of actual start date, no later than August 2026.
- Have academic course work, completed project research or have prior work experience with two or more of the following design tools: Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premier Pro, Dreamweaver, After Effects, etc.); Sketch; InVision; Principle; Axure; Balsamiq; or equivalent.
- Have project experience, work experience, or academic course work in two or more of the following areas: Information architecture, wireframing, storyboarding, visualization, prototyping, sketching, surveying, user research, personas, user testing.
Nice to have
- A portfolio or case study examples that clearly show your UX design and/or research process from problem definition through outcomes.
- Comfort explaining design decisions using evidence from user research, surveys, personas, or user testing.
- Experience collaborating asynchronously in a remote setting, including sharing prototypes and incorporating feedback.
- Strong written communication skills for documenting research insights, requirements, and design rationale.
- Ability to work across multiple stages of UX work such as information architecture, wireframing, prototyping, and visualization.
