About this internship
As a District Manager Intern with ALDI USA in South Windsor, CT, you’ll work on site while learning how district leadership supports grocery operations and team performance. You’ll be expected to consistently demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) outlined for the role as you develop professionally. You’ll also acquire knowledge from a trainer to build a full understanding of the role and the importance of leading by building a culture of excellence.
Qualifications
Required
- In current pursuit of Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field.
- Consistently demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) as outlined for the role.
- Acquires knowledge from their trainer to gain a full understanding of the roles and importance of leading by building a culture of excellence.
Nice to have
- Interest in retail or grocery operations and how stores work day to day.
- Comfort learning through hands-on, on-site training and applying feedback from a trainer.
- Clear communication skills for working with different people in a fast-paced environment.
- Organizational skills to balance tasks while staying aligned with role expectations and competencies.
- Willingness to take initiative and model professionalism while learning how to lead teams.
