About this internship
CBIZ is hiring a Tax Intern for Summer 2027 in Denver, CO with an on-site work model. In this role, you’ll likely support tax-related work that draws on GAAP knowledge, taxation compliance, and the ability to research codes and regulations. The position is open to candidates working toward a Bachelor’s degree and offers pay of $28–$35 per hour.
Qualifications
Required
- Working towards a Bachelor’s degree
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical, research and tax project management skills, including knowledge of GAAP, Taxation compliance, codes and regulations
- Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of the organization, both internally and externally
Nice to have
- Comfort using spreadsheets and organizing supporting documentation for tax projects
- Strong attention to detail when reviewing numbers and checking compliance with codes and regulations
- Ability to prioritize tasks and track deadlines across multiple tax-related assignments
- Willingness to ask clarifying questions and incorporate feedback on written and verbal communication
- Professionalism when interacting with internal teams and external contacts
