Core Tax Intern – Summer 2026 (Los Angeles)
About this internship
BDO USA is seeking a Core Tax Intern for Summer 2026 in Los Angeles, CA, with a hybrid work model. You’ll support tax-related work while building experience in an accounting and consulting environment. This role is for students enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Accounting or a related field who are actively pursuing CPA credits, and it pays $22–$39 per hour.
Qualifications
Required
- Enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters program in Accounting or other relevant field required
- Actively pursuing school credits to become a CPA
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Nice to have
- Comfort working with spreadsheets and organizing data in Excel to support tax projects.
- Strong written communication skills for drafting clear emails and basic client-ready documents in Word.
- Ability to create polished, well-structured slides in PowerPoint to summarize work or findings.
- Attention to detail when reviewing numbers, names, and supporting documentation.
- Time-management skills to balance internship deadlines alongside coursework and CPA credit requirements.
