Qualifications
Required
- Pursuing a PhD in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science etc relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- Proficient in data querying languages and at least one scripting language (e.g. Python, R)
- Experience in one or more of the following methods: forecasting, statistical and causal inference, classification methods.
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience writing efficient queries to extract, join, and validate large datasets for analysis.
- Comfort translating an open-ended product question into a measurable metric and an analysis plan.
- Experience evaluating models and communicating trade-offs using clear, data-backed summaries.
- Familiarity with experiment design concepts and interpreting results to support causal conclusions.
- Strong documentation habits and willingness to share reproducible analysis code in Python or R.
