The Walt Disney Company is hiring a WDI Landscape Architecture Intern for Spring 2026 in Lake Buena Vista (Orlando), FL, working on site. Qualifications
Required
- Working knowledge and experience in the use of plant and hardscape materials and products for thematic applications
- Demonstrated thoughtful design, artistic skills and professional judgment in solving complex area development problems
- Demonstrated proficiency in AutoCAD or Civil 3D and digital illustration tools such as Photoshop and InDesign. Working knowledge/skills in 3D software tools: Rhino, SketchUp, Twinmotion or Lumion.
Nice to have
- Portfolio or samples that show thematic applications of plant and hardscape materials.
- Strong visual communication skills, including clear diagrams, plans, and presentation layouts.
- Comfort coordinating files and keeping drawings organized across AutoCAD/Civil 3D and digital illustration tools.
- Ability to iterate on design concepts based on feedback while maintaining professional judgment.
- Experience creating simple 3D studies or renderings to communicate design intent using tools like Rhino, SketchUp, Twinmotion, or Lumion.
