The Wall Street Journal is seeking an Intern, Video Prodution to support video production and digital media work on-site in NYC (1211 Ave of the Americas). In this role, youโ€™ll likely assist with shooting and editing digital video, and may help research and write for video stories. The pay rate is $16.50/hr.

Qualifications

Required

  • A strong interest in video production and digital media
  • Basic experience with DSLR cameras and Premiere Pro (Photoshop is a plus!)
  • Interest in researching and writing for digital video

Nice to have

  • Comfort handling basic DSLR camera setup and operation in a variety of shooting environments
  • Familiarity with editing workflows in Premiere Pro, including organizing footage and exporting for digital platforms
  • Strong interest in digital video storytelling and keeping up with video trends
  • Basic Photoshop skills for simple graphics or thumbnails (a plus)
  • Curiosity and attention to detail when researching and drafting scripts or supporting copy for video
