Alvarez & Marsal is seeking an MBA Summer Consultant for its Consumer & Retail Group in Boston, MA, in an on-site role. Qualifications
Required
- Undergraduate degree from a top university
- Pursuing an MBA
- 3–5 years in consumer/retail-related business or consulting (professional services or corporate roles with financial/operational focus preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access
- strong technical acumen with comfort handling complex data
Nice to have
- Experience building clear, client-ready presentations in PowerPoint and supporting documents in Word.
- Comfort summarizing complex analyses into concise recommendations for consumer/retail stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail when working with large or messy datasets in Excel and Access.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, on-site environment.
- Clear communication skills for collaborating with colleagues and presenting updates to project teams.
