The 2026 Banzai Life Literacy Scholarship is now open for applications.
Banzai, an online financial education program that offers free personal financial courses to students, launched the scholarship last year to support students in their quest for higher education.
“At Banzai, our aim is to strengthen America’s future and there’s no better way to do that than by giving the next generation a leg up in life. It’s our hope that this scholarship will do just that for a group of deserving students from a variety of backgrounds,” said CEO Morgan Vandagriff.
The company will award two scholarships in the amount of $2,500 each.
The scholarship is open to high school juniors and seniors. To qualify, applicants must reside in the United States, be at least 16 years of age, have played through at least two Banzai games and plan on enrolling either full- or part-time at an accredited college, university or a trade, vocational or technical school in the United States by the 2030-2031 academic year.
Applicants are required to write an essay of 350-500 words on why financial literacy is important or how they plan to use what they’ve learned about financial literacy in the future.
Applications are due by April 30, 2026.
