CFP Board Opens Spring 2026 Scholarship Programs

CFP Board Center for Financial Planning has opened its spring 2026 scholarship programs for applications.

The scholarships are intended to support students pursuing the educational coursework required to become a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional.

The Center will award 14 scholarships, ranging from $2,000 to $5,000 depending on the scholarship program, for a total of $65,000 this spring.

The scholarships are open to students enrolling in an undergraduate-, graduate- or certificate-level CFP Board Registered Program. Click here for a list of CFP Board Registered Programs.

While the eligibility requirements for the six scholarship programs vary, they are all intended to assist individuals on the pathway to completing the education requirements for CFP® certification by lowering the financial barriers of entry.

With these scholarship programs, the Center continues its mission to build the profession’s talent pipeline by financially supporting students aspiring to become a CFP® professional. Since the launch of its first scholarship program in 2016, the Center has awarded over $3.3 million to over 990 awardees to date, an accomplishment made possible through donations from generous sponsors and donors.

Students who qualify may apply to any of the six scholarship programs here.

Applications are due by March 25, 2026.
