*Also, make sure you know which items are prohibited, so that you don’t end up throwing them away at the airport!
(For example, liquids, gels, and aerosols are not allowed in your carry on bags unless they are: less than 3.4oz, stored in a 1 quart/liter zip-top bag <1 zip-top bag per person>, and placed in the screening bin).*
