Scholarship Summary

Just Porter awards two $1,000 college scholarships per year. One award in the Spring semester and one award in the Fall semester.

How does your creativity help change in the world for the better? How has creativity helped define who you are?

Eligibility:

  • Must be enrolled, full time or part time (at least 6 hours), in a post-secondary educational institution, including junior colleges and vocational schools, at the time of entry.
  • Must have a minimum 2.5 GPA.
  • Must be a legal U.S resident.
  • Must be 18 years old.

How to Apply:

  • Write a 500-750 word essay that demonstrates the power of creativity in your life.
  • Submit a document (pdf, word, .doc,.docx) containing the following information:

On first page: First and Last Name; Email Address; University or College; Major (Area of Concentration); Term you are applying for (Fall or Spring); Calendar year you are applying for (2016 or 2017)

On the second page: Your 500-750 word essay

  • Submit documents to the Dropbox link provided in the company’s scholarship packet on their website (see button below).
  • Label document with your [FIRST LAST NAME] – [TERM] [YEAR].

Deadlines: 

Spring – January 15

Fall – August 31

Amount: $1,000
