Being a parent while educating yourself in college can be a challenge. Parents who study often find both time and money are an issue. That’s why ParentsNeed.com has created a yearly scholarship designed for students who find a way to balance between the two and can benefit from support.

This scholarship is for parents who also go to school!

 

Eligibility:

  • High School and College students are eligible to apply.

How to Apply:

  • Make a 3-4 minute video that includes some of the following topics:
  1. Describe the challenges of studying and parenting.
  2. Talk about things you have done to find a balance and the positive results of your actions.
  3. Discuss how organization can play a key role in achieving this balance.
  • Once the video is ready it needs to be uploaded to YouTube with the title, ‘ParentNeed.com Scholarship’.
  • In the description area you must also paste a link to the scholarship page.
  • Once your video is uploaded you should email scholarships@parentsneed.com and with the link to your video. In your email you must also include the following details:
  1. Your contact details: full name, telephone contact number and email address.
  2. The school you go to (even if you have not yet started, so long as you have been accepted).
  3. Evidence that shows you are a student of the above school
  4. Your subject choice.

Amount: $1,000

Deadline: December 1

Your videos will be judged on creativity and how clear the message is!
