Got a mind for business? Submit an essay on one of the following topics and you could win a $1,500 scholarship from Lance Surety Bond Associates!
Eligibility:
- Must be an undergraduate or graduate student in an accredited college, university, or trade school in the U.S.
How to Apply:
- Write an essay of at least 500 words on one of the following topics:
- What would be your motivation to start a small business, if you could launch it right now?
- How does the U.S. economy benefit from surety bonds?
- Write an essay on a topic of your choice about one of the following businesses: Auto Dealership, Freight Brokerage, Construction, or Mortgage Brokerage.
- Email your essay to scholarship@suretybonds.org.
- Include your full name. email address, phone number, accredited institution, and year in school.
Quick Tips:
- Be sure to check out the resources provided on the application site.
- If you choose the third essay option, be sure to write about a major aspect of the the industry (ex. perks of the job, starting a business).
