Eligibility
- All currently enrolled undergraduate students are eligible.
- Graduate students, law students and/or high school seniors are NOT eligible.
How to Apply
Applicant must write a 800-2,000 essay on the following topic:
- Knowing what we now know about preventing history from repeating itself in terms of the housing market crisis, what measure(s) would you suggest (or protections would you put in place) to prevent another housing disaster that would preserve homeownership and the national economy? Or, conversely, is another housing disaster simply inevitable? Provide factual evidence (references are strongly encouraged) to support your original plan/argument.
Deadline: December 16
Award Amount(s):
- First place winner will receive $5,000.
- Second through fifth place winners will receive $1,000 each.
