IWEA Clean Water Scholarship

Amount: Up to $1,000. About: Offered by the Illinois Water Environment Association, the Clean Water Scholarship is an annual prize awarded to an undergraduate and graduate students studying in a water-related field. Applicants must be Illinois residents or attend an accredited college or university in Illinois, have completed at least two years of college by the time they receive the award, be a full-time student enrolled in a water-related field of study, such as civil or environmental engineering, environmental science, or wastewater systems operation, and have a GPA of at least 2.5 on a 4.0 scale. Applications open in October each year.
Eligible Grade Levels: College Junior, College Senior, Graduate Student
Eligible Majors: Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Wastewater Systems
Residency Requirement: Illinois
Minimum GPA: 2.5
