Ernest F. Hollings Undergraduate Scholarship

Amount: Up to $9,500 per year for 2 years. About: The Ernest F. Hollings Undergraduate Scholarship is an annual award program for students interested in oceanic and atmospheric science. Applicants must be U.S. citizens, be currently enrolled or accepted at an accredited college or university within the United States or a U.S. territory, have a GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, and have and maintain a major in a field related to oceanic or atmospheric science. In addition to receiving scholarship money, recipients are able to work paid summer internships at National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration facilities across the United States. Applications open on September 1 each year.

Minimum GPA: 3.0
