Amount: Up to $5,000. About: Offered by MPOWER Financing, which provides private student loans to international and DACA students in the United States and Canada, the MPOWER 追梦永不息 Scholarship is awarded annually to graduate students with Chinese citizenship admitted to, or enrolled in, a full-time degree program at a U.S. or Canadian school that MPOWER supports. Four scholarships are awarded each year in the amount of $5,000 (Grand Prize), $1,000 (First Runner-Up), and $500 (Honorable Mention – two awards). Applicants must be permitted to legally study in the U.S. or Canada. To study in the United States, applicants must have a valid visa that permits study in the country or be a U.S. permanent resident (i.e., Green Card holder). To study in Canada, applicants must a valid Canadian study permit. Applicants need not be MPOWER borrowers to apply for this scholarship.
