As a Strategic Operations Intern (TikTok-Search Growth), you’ll support strategic planning tied to user needs and content quality within TikTok’s content discovery space. This on-site role is based in San Jose, CA and is part of the 2025 summer internship program for BS/MS students. The position is listed at $25/hr.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree or above (computer science, information technology, data science, and other related majors are preferred)
- Strong intuition for user needs and content quality, with the ability to abstract requirements and independently drive strategic planning.
- Sharp logical thinking, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Nice to have
- Coursework or project experience in computer science, information technology, data science, or a closely related field.
- Ability to turn ambiguous user or content-quality signals into clear requirements and a structured plan.
- Comfort collaborating across teams and communicating decisions, tradeoffs, and next steps clearly.
- Strong analytical mindset and logical reasoning when prioritizing work and evaluating options.
- Self-directed work style, with a track record of independently driving a project from idea to plan.
