Qualifications
Required
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science etc relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- Proficient in data querying languages and at least one scripting language (e.g. PythonγR)
- Experience in one or more of the following methods: forecasting, statistical and causal inference, classification methods.
Nice to have
- Comfort translating a product question into a measurable hypothesis and clear success metrics.
- Experience cleaning, validating, and documenting datasets to improve reliability of analysis.
- Ability to communicate statistical results and assumptions clearly to non-technical partners.
- Familiarity with choosing appropriate evaluation approaches for forecasting, inference, or classification work.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail when working with large, messy data.
